Queenslander House Renovation
This neglected old Queenslander style house had been divided into flats.
The design brief was to highlight the lost aesthetic of the original house and open up the cluttered internal spaces. Consideration was also to be given to improving the relationship between the house and the existing surrounding environmental conditions, especially the views at the front and the prevailing breezes at both the front and rear.
The contract included the demolition and refit of all internal spaces, including the bathrooms and kitchen. Work included renovations of the existing facades, particularly the verandahs, to make them more functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Our client’s eye for detail, particularly with material selection and soft decorations, ensured that the final finishing touches complimented the new work perfectly and seamlessly.
